yipworld.com is an award winning social enterprise company, youth initiative, childcare and training provider based in Cumnock in East Ayrshire that provides a wide range of activities for children and young people on a daily basis from out of school care to senior drop-in.
Ambition
Yipworld.com were looking to produce a new younger style to the look of the website for their 10 year anniversary. The Ikon Digital Design & Development team worked with yipworld to produce the website that is inkeeping with there new current styling and branding.
Actions
Over a number of consultations, the design was evolved to appeal to the target audience and eventually emerged as the design running live. The website was developed using a combination of html, css and our content management system.
We also linked various popular social networking websites to the new website so that visitors can easily share the site with friends with an aim to increasing visitor numbers.
Impact
The new website launched April 2010 and is steadily growing in popularity and the number of user visits. The Ikon Digital team are working closely with yipworld.com to help them develop the website further and keep it up to date.
